PARTS OF SPEECH
PARTS OF SPEECH SPRINTS – To have fun reinforcing the parts of speech, all you need are a few pictures! Find a few visually busy photos from magazines or newspapers. Give your kids about 3 or 4 minutes to locate and write down as many nouns as they can find in the photo. When time’s up, have them call out the nouns one by one. Bonus points get awarded for words that no one else came up with. Repeat the lesson for adjectives and verbs.
