MATH LESSON PLANS

M&MATH – OK face it, working with fractions is no treat! But here’s a good idea for getting your kids engaged while you help them absorb some new math concepts. Using fun packs of multi-colored candies, have your kids find the fractions inside the bag. What fraction of the bag was yellow candy? What fraction of the bag was red? Can those numbers be simplified? Can they compute percentages? Then, after the numbers are crunched, taste the reward of a job well done!
