DECEMBER 11TH – TANGO DAY
The tango dance form originated in Buenos Aires, Argentina, sometime around the 1890s. Its dramatic music and amenity to freestyle improvisations led to crazes throughout the world at the turn of the 20th century, most notably in North America and Europe.
